American Women's Services is pleased to offer
tubal sterilization services to those patients desiring to be sterilized.
Tubal sterilization is considered a permanent form of contraception and it is irreversible.
Therefore, it should only be considered by those women who are sure that they do not want
any more children and who are willing to permanently give up the option of future pregnancies.
Many people are not aware that sterilization is the most common form
of contraception in America. More people rely on sterilization for contraception
than any other method. Sterilization is popular with many couples
because they will never again have to worry about pregnancy and
because they will never again have to deal with contraception.
We currently offer non-surgical tubal sterilization. Because
non-surgical tubal sterilization avoids the need for surgery and anesthesia,
it has many advantages over surgical sterilization including: it is generally considered
to be safer, simpler, easier, quicker, cheaper, less painful, leaves no scar, causes no adhesions,
